History: Khwaja Qutbuddin’s r.a. original name was “Bakhtiyar” but his title was “Qutbuddin”. ‘KAKI’ comes from the fact that the saint Khizr used to feed Qutubuddin small cakes known as ‘KAK’. He was so much indulged in the remembrance of Allah so he was habituated to eat little, sleep little and speak little. He used to recite the Quran twice daily. Anything came to his khanqah, he quickly distributed it to the poor and needy. He used to distribute plain water as a humble token of his hospitality if there were nothing.
