Introduction: Shri Jagannath Mandir, a beautiful white temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath situated near Hauz Khas. Entrance of the temple is named as Singhadwara because While entering into the temple premises you can see two very beautifully carved dwarpala lions. The temple is blessed with pictures that narrate the life of Lord Krishna. Temple has designed in a very unique architectural work which attracts tourists. The temple houses the other hindu deities as well such as Lord Ganesha, Balabhadra and Lord Shiva, Maa Lakshmi, Maa Tarini and Maa Vimala. The Jagannath temple in new delhi is a modern temple built by the Oriya community of Delhi dedicated to the Hindu God Jagannath. The temple located in Hauz Khas and is famous for its annual Rathyatra festival attended by thousands of devotees. The cleaning process is also done by the members of the temple for hygiene maintenance. After the snan, the costumes of all the deities are also changed along with their unique jewellery. History: This temple is almost the one and only temple dedicated to lord Jagannath in delhi. Temple was established by Sree Neelachala Seva Sangh in 1969 after getting land from the Delhi Development Authority. The first Lord’s Yatra began in 1979 then after the temple was built.
