Great choice for tourists who wish to explore the street food culture ,sights ,people and market in shortest possible time .In addition to food ,guests also visit some of the less explored corners which are not very well known but are worth seeing ,meeting and interacting with locals and walking through colourful streets which havent changed for past 2 centuries.This is a four hour tour.Key highlights are ,trying the mouth watering Delhi chaat ,visit the famous parantha wali gali,buy spices at khari Baoli the wholesale spice market of India. The price of the tour includes 2 bottles of packaged drinking water,15 dishes to be tasted at different famous spots ,hand sanitiser and a lesson in history of Old delhi food .The food includes chaat ,lassi ,parantha from parantha wali gali ,lassi from famous lassiwala ,Dahi bhalle and special sweet .The guests can also buy special spices.
As this is our last day of our trip we will plan this light while visiting Nations museum. National museum was inaugurated on August 15, 1949 by Shri R.C. Rajagopalachari in the Rashtrapati Bhawan Premises. After Museum we will plan an interactive walk while visiting India Gate. We will walk from India Gate till Rahshtrapati Bhawan along with the taste of street food from roadside vendor.
After having lunch at Pandara Road or Khan Market we will drop you back to your stay.
You will also see Humayun’s Tomb and the India Gate. The Red Fort served emperors for 200 years until 1857 and also visit the Swaminarayan Akshardham to learn of the Hindu faith.
